TANGY TUNA SALAD SANDWICH WRAPS
MAKES 4 WRAPS
INGREDIENTS1 bunch fresh chives, chopped
1 bunch fresh oregano, chopped
1 6 oz tub cream cheese, at room temperature
2 cans (6 oz) chunk light tuna in water, drained
3 tablespoons Italian salad dressing (homemade or store bought)
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
4 plain, whole-wheat or spinach tortillas
4 leaves of romaine lettuce
PROCEDURE
1. Put herbs and cream cheese in a bowl and stir well.
2. Put tuna in a bowl, add salad dressing and parsley. Mix well.
3. Spread cream cheese mixture over the tortillas.
4. Place a lettuce leaf on each wrap. Place a 1/4 of the tuna mixture on each wrap.
5. Spread the tuna mixture to within a 1/4 inch of the edge of the tortilla.
6. Roll the tortilla up, slice in half, and serve.
Additional ingredients you can add to sandwich:
sliced onion
sliced cherry tomatoes
sliced black olives
thinly sliced granny smith apples
