Does anyone in your family have Diabetes? If so, there is chance you might get diabetes if you don’t watch what you are eating and start exercising more. You will end up with a terrible sickness known as diabetes. Do you eat a lot of sugar and sweets? If so you are endangering your body and your health, eating all that sugar is not good for you there can be some serious problems you can run into. Why you ask?

Well it is because when you eat or drink soda, Snapple, candy or any type of sweets, in huge amounts your body is taking in too much sugar, which can result in you having hyperglycemia (a.k.a. high blood sugar) and this is bad because when you have high blood sugar you will have a big problem. With all that sugar in your blood system an organ in your body is being affecting which is your Pancreas.
The pancreas is an organ in your body which produces Insulin which helps lower the blood glucose level. So when you intake a lot of sugar, the pancreas stops producing insulin and it results that your blood sugar level rises and you end up getting diabetes. Diabetes can also be passed down through your family bloodline which means that you can get it from anyone in your family who had it or has it. Obesity can also be the cause of diabetes.
There are two types of Diabetes: Type 1 and Type 2. Type 1 you can get it at any age in childhood. It can be deadly because your body doesn’t produce insulin and without it your blood sugar level could go up. Type 2 you can get at adult hood and it tends to run in your family. This is most likely due to specific genes that are passed along. Also if you have a history of high blood pressure or high blood cholesterol then you are at risk. It is very risky because most people eat a lot of fat, sugars, and don’t exercise enough. Even though it is bad for you eating a little amount of sugar can help you maintain a normal leveled sugar level.
